What is the difference between Grade A handles and Grade B handles? 

This handle is made to easy the process of hanging a collared axe.   All of the collared Scandinavian axes are all hand forged meaning there is not standard for the eye shape of size.   This helps take the guess work out of trying to get an American patterned handle to fit.  The size of the eye will also work for other traditional American made axes as well.

Lower section of the handle is Dogleg shaped like they were traditionally in that region of the world.

It will also fit most boys axe heads. It is thin, ergonomic, and made from 24” of dried American hickory! Each of these handles are hand picked by our team to ensure they are of the highest quality! 

If you really want to add some character to your new hang pick up a walnut wedge!

You can also grab an extra poplar wedge if you want too!

Each handle comes with the proper wedge!
